about me

My name is Alysha Aiello, my pronouns are she/her. I am a queer therapist located in Orange County, CA and serving all of California virtually. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton with my Masters in Social Work degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(#114956).

Navigating my own therapeutic and healing journey has allowed me the opportunity to understand how important the client/therapist relationship is to the healing process. I bring my authentic self to all sessions by incorporating humor, music, media, and culture, inviting you to bring your whole self too. The therapeutic environment I foster with clients is authentic, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and filled with compassion with an invitation to lean into the discomfort of growth.

When I am not working, you can find me at a local coffee shop or listening to true crime podcasts, watching movies or tv shows. I also enjoy trying new ways to be creative and crafting in general, and I am currently dabbling with punch needle/tufting and pottery. I also love spending time with my dog Zeus, as well as my friends and my partner.

my approach

I am a client-centered therapist and I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, meaning I tailor my approach to your needs while maintaining a non-judgmental and empathetic stance. I like to pull from various modalities and frameworks to fit my clients’ needs or interests.

I use a strengths-based, Integrative, trauma informed and inclusive approach to healing. My goal is to create a warm, gentle, non-judgmental space so each client feels comfortable sharing what is on their minds and what is in their hearts. This may include diving into trauma, grief, and other challenging life experiences that prevent a person from feeling at peace and operating at their highest potential.
